TylerAnn Mack - Parking Lot

original sketch

rough sketch redrawn on bristol paper

My comic is about how badly my neighbors always park. My roommates and I have gotten into the habit of watching them park when we are in the kitchen, especially when we are doing dishes.

This story is about my character being bored, hanging out with a friend, when said friend gets a call and leaves the room. My character decided it's an excellent opportunity for a little fun and hides all of the friend's belongings throughout the room. In the end, my character is enjoying watching the friend tear apart the room looking for her stuff from the safety of the cupboard under the sink.

I mostly utilized scene to scene and moment to moment transitions, I think...
I am wondering whether or not I should put the other character into the same style as my own, along with the setting, or if I should leave it as is. Also, I'm thinking maybe I should flip the bottom panel so that the cupboard opens on the right side? There's also the question of whether there are too many panels crammed together....

The Amazing Pumpkin story that everyone has heard a million times- or- How not to act at a party

Hey Allison, Here are the thumbs for my thrilling story of being hammered, making a poor judgement call involving running head first into a rock-solid pumpkin, and justly receiving an enormous gash on my forehead. I am not sure how I feel about frames 6 and 7. I think I could even add another panel to show the change from panel 5 to my bad decision in panel 6. What do you think?

how fishing works
Hello!

Sorry this isn't very clear. This comic shows the events of how Leonardo and I first meet. The first image is me, crouching behind bushes under a cape. The view pans out to show me overlooking a development on the ocean. A turtle shell is shown tied to the ground, and various figures surround the turtle with weapons. The next scene, shows me using my staff to fend off the guards. It does some crazy magic things, and the fire "beads" on it burst off to attack my enemies…..
Next, my staff breaks the bonds that hold Leonardo as he looks at me from within my shell. Leonardo, now freed, looks over to the ocean in the distance to show I have given him his freedom. However, Leonardo decides to bow to me, creating an everlasting friendship of awesomeness and happiness :D
And we ride into the forest together!

Storyboard Homework

So my character is just a little ghost wandering alone in the void until a rift opens up and brings him to an equally desolate world where he meets a friend.

one night stand?

Starting off sad and alone at the bar, sadness turns into pounding drinks back and getting wasted, sun rises, I wake up hungover with a lack of memory- mortified to find a resemblance of Jules with a more prominent stache in my bed.  Im not totally sold on the second to last frame I have but not really sure how to set it up. Open to suggestions, and any suggestions for simple, yet suggestive ways to add more of an environment to a few of the frames. I tried to do action-to-action in the set of frames where Im drinking, and tried to either do subject-to-subject and or scene-to-scene with the last frames, but not sure if they really count.

Homework

Bird me sitting inside, bored. I decide to go for a walk outside. I come across a basket of chicks. The sight of them startles me. Bird me is puzzled by this random basket of chicks just sitting out on the yard.
I'm not sure if I used the transitions correctly.
A one page comic about me listening to music in my room and then my jam comes on and I start singing along and get caught by my brother so embarrassing

my homework

So, this is my story board. this is me and my boyfriend Jon. Jon is playing video games and I am annoyed because I am bord. my cat pounces on me to get my attention. So I  imitated the cat, and pounce on him. then we both play video games.

Burrito lover

This is a story about my many travels on foot to Chipotle to get delicious burritos.

Homework

Here I have the moment I ate a whole Domino's pizza by myself. It starts off with myself eating a slice while watching videos on my Mac. The slices decrease in each panel until I come to a sudden realization: I ate them all.

Furniture story

I did mine a bit bigger than 9 x 12 without really thinking, I just used the whole page I had or 11 x 14 paper. My story was about my friend and I moving furniture around when my two other friends left the room. I hope you can see.

My Homework

This is a summary of some of the things that happened on my trip to Disney world in early 2001: Me looking out the window, reaching the gate, seeing EPCOT's spaceship earth, riding Splash Mountain, watching Cranium Command, eating at a restaurant and seeing the characters, and going home. It contains scene-to-scene transitions and action-to-action transitions.

I would love to know if it has a good flow, or is too chaotic. Thanks, Matt.
