So my character is just a little ghost wandering alone in the void until a rift opens up and brings him to an equally desolate world where he meets a friend.
I know you were not here for last class so let me know if you need the handouts and any additional explanation for this assignment. This looks like a good start, for your next stab at this think about your comic as a whole page and think about the different types of transitional devices that you can use to help move the story along. You can use different size frames for emphasis and you can use more than 6 panels. Take a look at some of your classmate's posts on the blog to get some ideas. As for the story, think about your pacing a bit more. When he goes in to the rift, you could build up the scene with moment-to-moment transitions. When he enters in to the new world, maybe there are more aspect-to-aspect transitions to describe the setting of the new world before he meets his friend. Let me know if you have any questions, and when you have a chance please email me your homework from last week. Thanks!
